New Zealand

NEW ZEALAND consists of two major island, the North Island and the South Island.  If you are arriving from the U.S., Auckland will be your point of entry.

The Bay of Islands in the far North end is known for its wonderful sailing and game fishing.  Here you can take an eco-marine adventure for a chance to get up close and even swim with Dolphins.  Central North Island is the best place to explore the Maori Culture.  Explore the Waitomo Region where you'll find massive subterranean caves that have been millions of years in the making and see a surreal underground starry sky created by millions of resident glow worms.  You can trek, abseil or go black water rafting.  Enjoy a magical journey through Middle-Earth to visit Shire's Rest, be thrilled by the Party Tree, see 44 hobbit holes and the Green Dragon Inn.

Every season provides spectacular scenery anywhere in New Zealand, from unique forests to deserted beaches to magical mountain vistas.  The South Island's lakes and fiords are some of the most breath taking sights you will ever see.  Speaking of breath taking, why not try a helicopter flight over the South Island glacier, or even land there for a unique glacier walk or ice climb.

Queenstown, nestled beneath a range of mountains aptly named The Remarkables, will make you gasp.  Once you catch your breath, you'll find plenty of ways to lose it again.  If adventure is on your list, this is the place to come, you can take the shotover jet boat, the wilderness jet boat, bungy jump, skydive, hang glide or paraglide.  This, after all, is a town that serves adrenalin for breakfast.
